It was SUCH a joy for me to introduce Franklin to the WAWA WASI, a program inside a hotel, where street kids do crafts, learn about God, and eat a proper lunch. He was so obedient and interested in every craft. He colored his butterfly beautifully, and made his chocolates with GLEE! At the end of the day, he had chocolate all down the front of his jacket.
Today he peeked in the cafe, and we sat up at the bar, talking about the floods that happened here a few months ago. Finally I told him that I'd be leaving on Monday. I fought back tears as he sincerely said, "Chao, amiga. Gracias. Have a good trip." Chao, Franklin.
